CO APE CONFERENCE
Learn more about Adapted Physical Education while experiencing Colorado at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort. This event features a variety of sessions designed for adapted physical education specialists and general physical education teachers who want to better serve students with disabilities in their classrooms. Occupational therapists, physical therapists, coaches, and parks and recreation leaders are also welcome to attend.
Enjoy beautiful lodging and delicious food as part of your mountain getaway. After a day of learning, unwind in the hot springs while taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
2026 Keynote Speaker
Justin Lund
Justin is the 2024 SHAPE Central District Adapted Physical Education Teacher of the Year as well as the 2022 MNSHAPE Developmental Adapted Physical Education (DAPE) Teacher of the Year. He taught middle school health/PE for two years, then he has been teaching Adapted PE in Bloomington Public Schools (BPS) since 2016 at the pre-K and elementary levels. He is also a co-lead for the DAPE team in BPS and is on the MNDAPE statewide leadership committee. Justin and his wife, Maddie, have two kids; Beckett (7) and Callie (5), and they live in Shakopee, MN.
